Sefton saw off Wallasey in Division Two thanks to tries from David Carr(2), Brian Gardner and Peter McBride. John Fenton converted twice and Wallasey's scores came via Paul Lewis penalties. 15-Dec-2007

 

Sefton 15 Ormskirk 17

ORMSKIRK just edged the verdict in this Lancashire Plate clash. Mark Tyms won two tries for the home side and Fenton a conversion and a penalty. Rowe was in twice for Ormskirk. Waughley hit both goals and a penalty. 22-Dec-2007

 

Ashton-on-Mersey 8 Sefton 0

SEFTON suffered their first defeat in South Lancashire/Cheshire Two, 25-7 They had to settle for a Colin Pascoe try and a John Fenton conversion. Stuart Williams (2) and David Wayne crossed for the Anvils with Andy Kelly hitting two of the conversions and a brace of penalties. 08-Jan-2008

Sefton still lack their early season sparkle and went down with John Fenton landing a brace of penalties and converting Dave Carr's try. 16-Jan-2008

 

Sefton 36 Warrington 18

Sefton hitmen score at the double ! Mark Tyms and Colin Pascoe gained two tries apiece, Dave Stanistreet and Neil Best also crossed and Pascoe was on target with three conversions.

Warrington gained tries through James Shaw, Paul Youdon and Neil Sullivan plus a Neil Almond penalty. 02-Feb-2008

 

Sefton 15 Oldershaw 17

Bottom of the table Oldershaw turned up the result of the day at leaders Sefton with a 17-15 triumph. John Roberts scored two tries and Mark Hallam kicked both conversions and a penalty kick. Sefton scored their tries through Tom Fletcher, Colin Pascoe and "Haggis" Jamie Cuthbertson. John Fenton missed a conversion in the last minute to level things. 09-Feb-2008

Promotion chasing Sefton returned to winning ways in South Lancs/Cheshire Two 19-12 at Oswestry. Neil Best, Peter McBride and Mark Tyms touched down and John Fenton converted twice. 16-Feb-2008

 

Sefton 36 Collegiate O.B 6

Promotion chasing Sefton took the division two derby with Colin Pascoe and Mark Tyms securing a brace of tries. Jamie Cuthbertson also went in with John Fenton adding four conversions and a penalty. Collegiate had to settle for two kicks by Chris Lloyd. 01-Mar-2008

 

Ormskirk 8 Sefton 7

Ormskirk edged out Sefton 8-7 in Division Two. Mark Webb went in for the home side and Barry Whalley struck a penalty. John Fenton converted a Tom Fletcher try for Sefton. 08-Mar-2008
