Oswestry 27 Sefton 14

A much changed Sefton trailed 18-14 at half-time but Oswestry finished strongly in this Cheshire/South Lancashire Division Three clash. Wayne Osborne scored two tries both converted by Phil Evans while Sefton had top men in Ian Burns and Mike Hanlon.

 

Sefton 7 Moore 10

Sefton were in the lead for a long time in this Cheshire/South Lancashire Division Three relegation battle. A fine try by Jamie Cuthbertson was not enough as Moore hit back with a late winner.

Sefton 8 Collegiate OB 7

Sefton needed this victory to allay fears of the drop if they lost the last game of the season against Trentham. Dave Stanistreet scored a vital first half try with Phil Evans knocking over a penalty. Nerve ends were frayed at the end when Collegiate narrowly missed a penalty for a last kick of the game winner.

Sefton 17 Trentham 5

Sefton come out on top of this bruising Cheshire/South Lancashire Division Three clash thanks to a fine team performance. Man of the match Wayne Osborne grabbed both tries with Phil Evans adding the two conversions and a penalty.
