Sefton lead Lancashire South/ Cheshire Division Three after a 52-13 rout of Newton-Le-Willows, tries coming from Dave Stanistreet(3), Colin Pascoe(2), Wayne Osborne, Dave Edwards and Tom Fletcher. 04-Feb-2006

 

Sefton 43 Parkonians 18

Sefton stayed top of Division Three as they accounted for visitors Old Parkonians. Skipper Wayne Osborne led the way with two tries, five conversions and a penalty. Mark Tyms, Colin Pascoe, Jamie Luck and Jamie Cuthbertson also crossed. 11-Feb-2006

 

Old Salians 20 Sefton 67 **

Division Three leaders Sefton cruised home at lowly Salians. Colin Pascoe led the way with four tries, with Mark Carruthers, Brian Gardner, Mark Tyms, Mike Wilkinson, Wayne Osborne, Jamie Cuthbertson and Dave Stanistreet also touching down. 18-Feb-2006

** Old Salians withdrew from league on March 25th and all results and points were removed from the tables

 

Bolton 38 Sefton 5

Sefton could not match higher rated Bolton in the semi-final of the Thwaites Lancashire Plate. Tom Fletcher touched down but Bolton, who led 10-5 at the break, took charge in the second period. They scored six tries in all and four conversions. 26-Feb-2006

 

Sefton 23 Mossley Hill 3

Sefton took the Division Three derby and only need one more win to secure promotion. Mark Tyms, Matt Thomas, Wayne Osborne and Colin Pascoe were the try scorers. Skipper Osborne converted twice and has now passed 1,000 career points for the club. 04-Mar-2006

Ellesmere Port 9 Sefton 31

Sefton clinched promotion with two tries by student John Fenton, veteran Dave Edwards also crossing. Phil Evans deputising at fly-half for the injured Wayne Osborne knocked over two conversions and four penalties. 25-Mar-2006
