20 Hightown 26Sefton loaned depleted Hightown two players and then watched as one of them, Mark Carruthers, scored the winning try for the visitors five minutes from time.
Sefton led twice as they scored tries through Mark Tyms (2), and Paul Evangelides, with Robin Earwaker adding a penalty and conversion.
Hightown’s other tries were scored by Alan Porter (2), and John Hunter, with Billy Humphrey landing three conversions.
