31 Port Sunlight 10Sefton are certainly finishing the season in style as they raced to their fourth win in the last five games.
Tom Kinloch, Wayne Osborne and Ian Burns led the way with the pack also in dominant form as they took five scrums against the head.
Sefton’s tries were scored by John Stitt(2), Osborne(2), and Kinloch with Paul ‘the Greek God’ Evangelides adding three conversions to take his season’s points total to 153.
Adrian Spence grabbed Port Sunlight’s try with Chris McGrath landing a penalty and conversion.

45 Vulcan 0Willie Coulter, Wayne Osborne and Paul Evangelides all hit top form as Sefton produced a sizzling seven-try spectatular to complete the double over Vulcan.
In fact, in the two games Sefton have scored 78 points without reply.
Osborne (2), Ian Burns, Steve Teale and Roy Spencer grabbed the tries and Evangelides added four conversions and Osborne one.

great linkOlder Members at Sefton have been watching with interest Newcastles’s march to what seems to be a certain Allied Dunbar First Division title.
Leading the Geordie team was England and former Wasps captain Dean Ryan who began his career in the early 1970s - at Sefton.
His Dad, Billy, was a wing forward in the first team and 16-year old Dean used to support the side from the touchline. He was spotted by Robbie MacDonald who was coach to Sefton’s seventh team and the rest, as they say, is history.
The family left Merseyside and the former Sefton seventh team player has gone on to become one of the game’s greats.

41 Didsbury TocH 0Centre Eddie Jones grabbed a hat-trick as Sefton dispelled any Cheshire/Lancashire South league relegation fears. Other tries came from Andy Walsh, Willie Coulter, Wayne Osborne and Paul Evangelides. Best for Sefton were Coulter, Jones and Walsh.
