Old Anselmian 17 Sefton 7

Two-try centre Graham Poole gave Old Anselmians the advantage with winger Kenny Hilton also a key dangerman.

Sefton’s pack was in top form with Lou McGowan, Dave Neary and Mark Tyms leading the way but they had to be satisfied with a Tyms try, converted by Robin Earwaker which notched up his 100th point of the season.

Tony Neville supplies the rest of the home points with a penalty and two conversions.
