Hoylake 9 Sefton 6

Simon Robinson's third penalty with ten minutes left was just enough to take Hoylake into the Tetley Bitter Vase fifth Round.

Sefton had previously lost only one game this season - 10-7 at Hoylake in a September league clash - and were always in with a chance of revenge, but they were restricted in a hard tackling game to two Phil Evans' penalties.
