    Skipper Andy Walsh was the star as Sefton stayed on course for Cheshire South Lancashire Third Division promotion.

    He scored the first try with Wayne Osborne and Mark Turner also crossing with Phil Evans adding a conversion.

    Second placed Sefton now have two crucial games with rivals Runcorn.
