Sefton 18 Runcorn 20

A DROP GOAL by scrum-half Lee Conchie made all the difference as Runcorn won a thrilling clash 20-18 at Sefton on Monday to boost their promotion from Cheshire/South Lancashire Division Three.

Runcorn were losing 10-7 at half-time, but ended up with tries by Conchie and Tony Ayers, a penalty and two conversions by Paul Ayers and a drop goal by Conchie.
