Sefton 41 Pt Sunlight 8

Graham Jones, Mark Tyms and new boy Wayne Osborne sparkled as Sefton raced to a convincing 7-try victory.

Barry Wilkes (2), Tyms (2), skipper Paul Walker, Paul McKibbin and a dazzling 35 yard effort by Osborne in which he beat several defenders were the try scorers with Paul Evangelides adding three conversions.

Despite Port Sunlight having their club dinner the night before and turning up still pissed, they replied through a Mike Dornley try and a Paul Jennings penalty.
