Wallasey 5 Sefton 27

Gareth Rogerson and Brian Ogwell were in top form as Sefton cruised to victory over their Cheshire/South Lancashire Division Three rivals.

Phil Evans, Stuart Bailey, Jamie Luck, Wayne Osborne scored tries and Ogwell grabbed his first senior try with Evans adding one conversion. Wallasey never gave up and were well worth their try by Gareth Jones.

Newton Le-Willows 45 Sefton 5

Second placed Newton easily won the Cheshire/South Lancashire Division Three game of the day with a seven try blitz through John McKenna(2), Andy McKenna, Chris Pearson, Chris McRobert, Chris Hallard and Chris Lockie. Mark Bolland added two penalties and two conversions.

With five of the senior squad missing, third placed Sefton were restricted to a Brian Gardner try.

Sefton 11 Ruskin Park 19

John Stitt and Gareth Rogerson starred for Sefton who scored a try through skipper Andy Walsh with Phil Evans adding a penalty and Wayne Osborne a drop goal. Ruskin Park's winners were Stuart Fisher with four penalties and a conversion and Mike O'Keefe with a try.
