Sefton made it five league wins out of five to keep the pressure on Oswestry at the top of Cheshire/South Lancs Three. The tries came from Wayne Osborne, Dave Stanistreet and John Stitt with Phil Evans kicking a solitary conversion. 8-Oct-2005

Sefton reached round three of the Lancashire Plate with a 25-18 win over Bay Horse on the Sunday. Colin Pascoe, Kevin Byrne and John Stitt scored tries with Wayne Osborne adding two penalties and two cons. 16-Oct-2005

Douglas 14 Sefton 34

Division Three leaders Sefton bounced back from 14-0 down at half-time to win 34-14 at Douglas. Replacement prop Brian Gardner went over three times, Mark Tyms (2) and Colin Pascoe also crossed. Wayne Osborne added two conversions. 22-Oct-2005

Collegiate OB 10 Sefton 6

Sefton lost for the first time in Division Three 10-6 at Collegiate, for whom James Howarth scored a try and a penalty and Dominic Hoben converted. Phil Evans' penalties replied. 29-Oct-2005

Sefton were back to full strength, and their winning ways to stay joint top of Division Three with Oswestry.

There was another brace of tries by Dave Stanistreet, with Mark Tyms and Andy Walsh also crossing.
