Sefton almost brought off the impossible when they scored 19 points in the last 15 minutes after they had been trailing 30-7 in this Lancashire South/Cheshire League clash. And Wayne Osborne was tackled a yard from the line in the last minute.

Sefton’s tries came from Paul Evangelides, Andy Sheehan, Barry Wilkes (M6 Jct 8) and Osborne with Evangelides landing three conversions and a Jumbo jet.
