20 Didsbury Toc H 12Lancashire South/Cheshire League Sefton eased their relegation fears with this comprehensive victory thanks to a fine performance by pack ace Andy Sheehan. He was well backed up by Dave Keegan, Matt Thomas and hooker Tom Kinloch who won five strikes against the head.
Wayne Osborne and Steve Smith scored the Sefton tries with Robin Earwaker adding two penalties and a two conversions.
A great sigh of relief was heard around the ground when the Club Physio announced over the PA system that Barry Wilkes was out for the rest of the season.
