THERE was an Oriental touch in the rugby union clash this week between

Sefton and St Edward's Old Boys for the referee was Katsuhiko Igmai of

Japan, who was officiating at his first match on his British tour. To mark the

occasion he was presented with a plaque by host club captain Billy Jones.
